Church Standards for Sunday Schools and Specialized Courses Draft 1.0 20 September 2026 For approval

Schools & Courses · Section 23

A register is recommended, not required. Where it exists, this is its public face.

Verification·Courses and Sunday Schools

Verify a certificate.Courses and Sunday Schools.

Enter the unique identifier printed on a Certificate of Completion, a Certificate of Competence or a Sunday School Graduation Certificate. The answer shows the type, the programme, its level and volume, the issuing organisation, the date of issue and the status of the record.

The central register holds Certificates of Completion, Certificates of Competence and Sunday School Graduation Certificates entered by their issuing organisations (Schools Standard, section 23). Certificates of Participation and annual certificates are not registered centrally. The published register holds only a fingerprint of each number; the check runs in your browser.

To see a positive answer, verify the specimen number . It is marked as a specimen and counted nowhere.

Legend

For certificates, “not found” is weaker than for diplomas. The Standard allows a local register.

Three answers, and the third is not a verdict.

  • ValidThe certificate is in the central register and has not been revoked.
  • RevokedRevoked under section 22 for falsification, erroneous issuance or material breach of the conditions of award.
  • Not in the central registerNot entered centrally. The certificate may still be genuine and registered locally by the issuing organisation (section 23 allows either): ask the issuer, and ask for the register entry.

One line per certificate.Number, programme, volume, date, issuer.

Section 23 recommends a centralised or local register for the Certificate of Completion, the Certificate of Competence and the Sunday School Graduation Certificate. The minimum record is the certificate number, the graduate’s name, the programme title, the volume of study, the date of issue, the issuing organisation and the status of the credential. Public verification shall comply with personal data protection requirements: this page shows the record without the name unless the issuer chooses to include it.

Until the register has a back office, issuing organisations send entries to office@patria.uno: number, type, programme, level SS or SC, hours, date of issue, issuing organisation and its registry number if it has one. Revocations under section 22 go the same way.

Verification address to print on the certificate: https://patria.uno/edu/verify/certificate/?c=NUMBER. A QR code of that address opens the check with the number filled in.
